About Me

Passionate designer and motivated creator with a background in graphic design, lettering, and pre-press; screen and comic book writing; and production. Works well independently or collaboratively to create evocative imagery and thoughtful media reflecting the team's shared vision.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago where I developed a passion for all things pop culture and technology. This led me to a degree from Columbia College Chicago in Television Writing & Producing.

I wrapped up my undergrad by moving to Los Angeles and participating in the Semester in L.A. program and stayed out there after completing. This would have worked out great if not for the 100 day Writer's Guild Strike that greatly affected the industry.

Returning from L.A., I pivoted from screenwriting to comic book writing and producing, creating several original titles along with a creative team. Championing the DIY ethos, I took on the task of lettering and design on our books, through which I fell in love with the design process. I dove into teaching myself graphic design and the intricacies of the Adobe Creative Cloud, and expanded into design work for clients including published and award-nominated work.

Most recently, I've decided to expand my skillset by completing a full-stack web development certification program through Northwestern University and Trilogy Education, learning the ins and outs of web developemt, both front-end and back-end. So much new information to dive into has been exciting!
